The assembly elections are quite near and the Congress woman leaders must come on the road. The woman leaders have the power to enter the houses of voters and campaign for the Congress.
These views were expressed by national vice president of woman congress and in charge of the state Sudha Rai in Swayam Siddh Mahila Shakati conference on Thursday here. The State president of woman congress also echoed the same sentiments. As the guests the woman leaders Sarojni Katoora, Deepti Choudhary, Pushpa Bharti, MlA P Tomar, district congress president Darshan Singh and former minister Bhagvan Singh Yadav addressed the women.
In the conference the State and district office bearers from 50 districts and large number of women leaders and workers were present.
The programme was convened by senior cooperator Smt. Kusum Sharma. Woman president of district Ram Pal (urban) and Shashi Pathak (rural) were also present. The district congress committee would organize a training camp in August separately in three constituency assemblies in which the workers would give booth level management tips.
