The beauty of woman’s nature and the colours of Goddess laxmi were displayed beautifully in the group painting exhibition. The colours spread over the canvas created a great impact over the viewers as they could feel the transformation of women power into vibrant colours. A group painting exhibition ‘Shree’ is being put up by few women artists of Indore. Organised by Alliance Francaise de Bhopal, the exhibition is on display at Alliance Francaise Art Gallery.
Watching the creations by the artists of Artmate Group, Indore, the art lovers of the city are able to explore the colours of untold creativity. The exhibition was inaugurated by eminent ceramist Nirmala Sharma on Saturday. The exhibition is all about creativity, as Shree in Sanskrit mean creativity. It also possesses one of the important meanings of the word, which is Goddess laxmi. Goddess laxmi is known for wealth and the artists have given a touch of her glimpse as well in their paintings.
Another meaning of Shree is Beauty. So, the artists have added the beauty of women into their creations that added much zest in the paintings. The artists have presented their creations into different forms including abstracts, modern and figurative forms. As all these artists are creative and active in their own respect, the spectators could see the flavour of imagination woven in to colours. All the artists have wonderfully expressed the original meaning of Shree into their creations. The vibrant colours and the shades added in each painting make each piece different.
