A 32-year-old woman, who had accidentally consumed poisonous substance in her house, died late in the night on Tuesday
In her statement she told that she accidentally consumed poisonous substance mistaking it as medicine for stomach pain in Berasia ; deceased was undergoing treatment after she was found unconscious in the morning on Monday.
According to the police deceased Manju Jathav was found in an unconscious state and was rushed to a nearby hospital on Monday and later she died late in the night on Tuesday.
During investigation police found that the Manju was having pain in her stomach and consumed poisonous substance in place of medicine by mistake. She was found in an unconscious state by family members and was taken to Hamidia hospital where she died while undergoing treatment in the night on Tuesday.
Body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
Other possibility of death could not be ruled out and would be investigated, said police.
Meanwhile, a 25-year-old married woman youth committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at her house in Bairagarh Chichli under Kolar police station area on Tuesday.
The deceased Sonam Yaduvanshi was found hanging with the ceiling and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
Sonam was married and came to Bhopal after she fell in love with Rakesh around three years ago but things turned sour as frequent fights erupted between them which forced her to take extreme step. Deceased was a resident of Chhindwara.
After the preliminary investigation body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
