A 32-year old woman was sexually assaulted and exploited for the past six years on the promise of marriage at Nehru Nagar under TT Nagar police station area; case was registered on Saturday.
According to the police, the victim was sexually assaulted by the accused Dharmendra Pratap Singh and exploited in the name of marrying her for six years.
Based on the complaint, police have registered of sexual assault against the accused who went absconding after the complaint was lodged with the police.
The victim came into contact with the accused when she used to stay at Nehru Nagar. He became friend and later used to take her to different hotels where he used to sexually exploit her in the name of marrying her. Later, when the victim asked him to marry accused refused.
In year 2013 she went to a New Year party at Sunheri Bagh and met the accused. The accused is relative of the victim.
Meanwhile, the Mahila police booked a miscreant for sexually exploiting a 25-year-old woman in Jehangirabad. The victim came into contact with the accused Gulshan Sen of Jehangirabad when the two used to work for a private firm. Accused lured her of marriage and sexually exploited her.
Later, when the victim asked for marriage accused provided different excuses and when she pressurized accused he refused to marry. Based on the victim’s complaint the police have registered a case under section 376(2) of the IPC and started search for the accused who is absconding.
