A 29-year old woman was allegedly sexually exploited for the three years on the promise of marriage, stayed in live in at Lalita Nagar; a complaint was lodged by victim on Wednesday with the Kolar police.According to the police, the victim was sexually assaulted by the accused Deepak Banjari in the name of marrying her and few days ago he refused to marry her and abandoned her.
Based on the complaint police have registered a case under section 376(2) of the IPC and started investigation. The victim came into contact with the accused when she used to work with a private firm, she met the accused at the firm and developed relationship. The two agreed to live in and stayed in the arrangement for three years.
In the complaint victim claimed that the accused developed relationship with the victim and later offered her to marry and stay with him at Lalita Nagar.
