A 30-year-old woman was sexually exploited for the past six years and duped to the tune of Rs 6 lakh in the name of providing house at low price. Kolar police have registered a case and started investigation.
According to the police, the victim was sexually assaulted and exploited by the accused Sunil for the past six years and during the period he assured victim of marriage and continued to sexually exploit her.
The victim came into contact with the accused around six years ago and victim was lured by the accused of marriage. The two developed relationship and the victim was accompanied by the accused started to live with the accused where she was sexually assaulted.
Later, when the victim asked her of marriage, the accused threatened her of life and escaped from his house. The victim approached Kolar police and lodged a complaint.
Based on the complaint, the police have registered a case under sections 376 and 506 of the IPC. The accused sexually assaulted the victim for the first time in November 2013.
During the investigation police found that the accused work as property dealer and lured the victim that his wife suffers from illness and he would marry her after wife’s death. The victim later found that the accused has cheated her and he had only exploited her. In the past few years accused also duped her of Rs 6 lakh in the name of providing house at low price.
Accused went absconding after the complaint was lodged by the victim. Search for the accused has been started and few places have been raided.
