A Singrauli based young woman lodged a complaint with Talaiya police for sexual assault, forcing to convert religion and providing beef in the name of other goat meat.
The accused kept the girl in live-in for 9 years on the pretext of marriage and later refused.
The 27-year-old woman alleges that the accused businessman Khaleel got her converted by feeding beef without informing her. Also changed the Hindu name to Ayesha and after that she was held hostage.
During this, not only did he beat her, but she also got an abortion by feeding her a pill. The girl has complained to the Talaiya police station along with Collector Avinash Lavania in this matter on Saturday. The victim came to Bhopal only in 2012 and became acquainted with Khaleel, a resident of Raisen.
Meanwhile, she needed money to pay the hostel rent and Khaleel provided Rs 6000, later she left the hostel and Khaleel took a flat on rent near Talaiya police station and she started to live there.
After four days Khaleel came with Shahrukh she was raped and recorded it and when she got pregnant, Khaleel promised to marriage. Later, abortion was done by providing pills. Accused continued to exploit by threatening to make the video viral on social media.
After a few days he took her to his home in Raisen. There he converted her to Islam by feeding beef. His wife changed my name to Ayesha.
She stayed in the flat till December 2021. Later, she went to Delhi with brother and returned 10 days ago to complain.
The victim says that Khaleel's son is still blackmailing her by sending the video on social media.
He said to make relationships, else the video will go viral. Assistant CP Nagendra Singh Pateria said that the application of the girl has been received, further action will be taken after investigation.
