A 45-year-old woman died in the night on Thursday who was injured after their bike was hit by speeding van at Tarawali jod on June 26 while her so escaped with injuries, Berasia police have started investigation.
According to the police, an injured man and a woman were rushed to hospital who were severely injured after their bike was hit by a speeding truck. The injured woman identified as Guddo Bi died during treatment on Thursday while her son Shanu is critical .Deceased was a resident of Barrai and met accident while she was on her way to home of a relative with her son on bike.
Police said that at the time of the incident the road was deserted but the van hit the bike head on truck which suggests that the truck was speeding. The body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police have registered a case under section 304 A of the IPC and have started further investigation.
Shanu sustained severe injuries and is under observation. The two skid for long as it was slippery due to rains. Their bike was hit from behind and were rushed to hospital.
Guddo sustained severe injuries and was bleeding profusely which made chances of her survival bleak and she succumbed to death late in the night on Thursday.
