A 35-year-old woman committed suicide by hanging from the ceiling at her residence in Janata Colony under Habibganj police station area on Friday; woman worked with Physiotherapy department of RGVP College.
According to the police, the deceased Madhavi Kalidar was found hanging in the afternoon by the family members. Police were informed and based on the information a police team reached the spot and started investigation. The deceased committed suicide late in the afternoon. The husband of deceased returned and found her hanging and was rushed to nearby hospital where she was declared dead.
Police have not found any suicide note and no reason was found behind the suicide. The statements of the family members have to be recorded which could help in revealing the reason behind the death.
The body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation. At the time of the suicide Madhavi was alone, her husband has gone for some work while children have gone to buy mask. The deceased is survived by her husband and two children.
During the investigation police have found that the deceased had sent her husband and children intentionally as she was prepared to take extreme step. She was taken to National hospital where she was declared brought dead.
