Depressed for not having children from marriage a 45 -year-old woman committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at Peergate area under Kotwali police station area on Wednesday.
According to the police, deceased Mamta Saxena was found hanging in kitchen at her house and was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead. Police have not found any suicide note or any reason in the initial investigation and
In the initial investigation police found that the Mamta married Gopal Saxena after his first wife died but from the marriage she do not have any children while Gopal had two children from his first wife and due to not having children Mamta used to remain depressed and which is seen as probable reason of suicide.
Body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
