An 28-year-old woman was found dead at her house at Kolhukhedi village under Gunga police station area on Monday morning. The police said that the death occurred due to poisoning. The deceased consumed or was poisoned would be investigated.
Police said that the deceased identified as Meena Dangi was found in an unconscious state and was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead.
At the time of the incident the husband and in-laws had gone to attend a marriage and she was with three sister-in-laws at home who are minor. In the morning when the family members returned the deceased was found lying and was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was declared dead.
Police said that they have not found any suicide note from the spot and would investigate the reason behind the suicide. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC.
Meanwhile, a 22-year-old youth committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance at his residence in Baagli village under Katara police station area late in the night on Sunday.
Police said that the Kapil Sahu was a student of BCA from a private college near Jahangirabad area. He was rushed to a private hospital at around 11 pm where he was referred to Hamidia hospital and later he died during treatment.
Police said that the mobile phone of the deceased would be investigated. The classmates and friends of the deceased would be quizzed to check the reason behind the suicide.
