The police nabbed an accused who allegedly raped a woman after forcing her to drink liquor. During the rape, the woman was beaten. The police got her medically examined and started interrogating the accused.
The woman is a teacher in a school and lives in a hostel in Govindpuri. In charge SP Virendra Jain said that Reema (name changed) resident of village Angora Renhat Jalon (UP) lives in Govindpuri hostel. On the New Year evening, she went to Manshapoorna Hanuman temple under Railway Bridge. When she was returning from their Kaushal Gurjar resident of Amaltash Colony followed the tempo in which she was travelling by his car and asked her to get down from tempo by mobile.
He asked her to sit in his car to leave her in her house. He took her to the house of his sister where she got Reema drink wine and raped her. He then came out from his house at 10 pm to take Reema to her hostel and again tried to rape her in his car but Reema refused so he bet her severely.
When the passersby gathered there, he ran away and dropped Reema at the gate of the hostel. The Chowkidar and other girls of the hostel saw him pushing Reema from his car and informed the police. The police reached the spot and took Reema took for medical examination. The police also alerted to search the accused. The police have registered a case.
