A 65-year-old woman drowned after she fell in a well at Hinotia village under Berasia police station area on Wednesday.
According to the police, the deceased Rammy Bai was found inside a well on Wednesday. After the body was spotted by the villagers’ police were informed and on the receipt a police team reached and started investigation.
The family members told the police that the deceased left the house in Tuesday evening and when failed to return till late night family members started to search but failed to find her and on Wednesday she was found drowned inside a well of the village.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
Police said that the circumstantial evidences suggest that the deceased had slipped inside well accidentally but possibility of suicide and murder could not be ruled out and reason would be investigated.
Meanwhile, a 35 year-old woman died who sustained burn injuries while cooking at her residence in Deepadi village under Misrod police station on Wednesday.
According to the police the deceased Parvati Bai sustained burn injuries while cooking and was rushed to Hamidia hospital where she died during treatment. The deceased sustained 80 percent burns which caused her death.
The body was sent for the post mortem after the preliminary investigation. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
