A 35-year-old woman died of burn injuries sustained while sitting near bonfire died at Kada Kota under Nazeerabad police station area on Thursday, deceased got injured at her house.
According to the police, the deceased Sunita Rajput sustained burn injuries at her house and was rushed to a nearby hospital and where was declared dead.In the initial investigation it was found that the deceased sustained burn injuries while she was sitting near bonfire to keep herself warm and her clothes caught fire in which sustained severe injuries. The family members rushed her to hospital where she was declared dead.After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and a case under section 174 of the CrPC was registered.During the investigation police found that the deceased was suffering from mental illness for the past four years and used to remain at house.
Police said that the deceased died to burn injuries and would be investigated that she sustained injuries or she was set ablaze in the further investigation.
