A 36-year-old woman died under suspicious circumstances after she fell from balcony of four-storey building at PC Nagar EWS multistory building under Habibganj police station area on Tuesday.
The deceased identified as Sonam Choudhary was rushed to a nearby hospital after she fell from balcony of her flat in the evening hours where she was declared brought dead.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and a case under section 174 of the CrPC was registered. The police have started further investigation.
In the initial investigation police have found nothing which reveals the reason of her fall and due to which the death occurred under suspicious circumstances. She sustained head injuries which caused her dead. Police said that if it is found that reason of the death would be investigated.
Meanwhile, a 42-year-old man died after he fell from terrace of his house near Gurudwara in Bairagarh; police have started investigation.
The deceased identified as Kamal Israni Pathak was rushed to a nearby hospital after he fell from terrace where he had gone after having dinner to have walk. He fell under suspicious circumstances from his single story building.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and a case under section 174 of the CrPC was registered.
The police have started further investigation. The deceased used to run a garment shop. He fell or was pushed remains a matter of investigation and would be investigated said police.
