A newly recruited woman constable posted at State Police Headquarters, who was missing since Wednesday, was found under mysterious condition in Shirdi.
According to police, constable Karishma who was dropped at State Police Headquarters around 10.30 am on Wednesday by her family member, but when she failed to reach home after her work, the family members started searching for her. After failing to locate her, they lodged a missing person’s complaint with the Jehangirabad Police.
When the police had started to search for the victim but later the victim’s father and brother informed the police that the victim is safe and has gone to Shridi without informing them.
The victim, Karishma, who is a resident of Nayapura, was posted at State Police Headquarters as a constable. She got the job on compassionate grounds after her mother’s death who was employed with district police.
Police said that although the victim has been found but an investigation into matter will be conducted because it is important to find that the newly recruit is interested in pursuing the job or there are other reasons of her missing and escaping from the duties. Another interesting fact which emerged was the claim of family regarding her safety and wellbeing but police have not received any kind of confirmation from the victim which would be investigated by the police.
During the investigation when the police tried to contact her the mobile phone was found switched off which made it impossible to trace her.
