A 30-year old woman committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance at Ibrahimpura on Wednesday; Talaiya police have registered case and started investigation.
According to the police, Suman Chourasia reported illness and started vomiting and was rushed to a nearby hospital where she died during treatment.
Police said that the deceased was pursuing LLB from MLB College and consumed poisonous substance to commit suicide.
The family members were not aware of the reason behind the death. No suicide note has been recovered. The deceased consumed poisonous substance or he was poisoned would be investigated.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
Meanwhile, a 17 -year old youth committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at his Odiya Basti under Chhola Mandir police station area Thursday. According to the police, Debu alias Devendra Singh was found hanging at his house and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
Investigating Officer SI Sumer Singh said that the deceased used to work at Karond Mandi and would return at around 10 am. On Thursday after he returned he committed suicide. After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation.
