A 22-year-old married woman who sustained major burns at Peergate area in the evening on Saturday died during treatment late in the night; clothes of deceased caught fire while cooking.
Ravish Fatima the deceased sustained major burn injuries after she sustained burn injuries while she preparing for the cooking. The deceased was rushed to Hamidia hospital where she died during treatment late in the night.
The family members have claimed that it was an accident but the claims of the family members would be investigated told the police.
Deceased got married to Mukhtar Hussain around three years ago. How was the relationship between the two would be investigated said the police.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation into the matter.
The circumstantial evidences suggests that the death was caused accidentally but after the post mortem report is received more details could be revealed. The family members of the deceased have claimed that the deceased has not died accidentally and proper investigation into the matter has to be conducted.
Meanwhile a 52-year-old man committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at Kanha Kunj under Kolar police station area during the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday.
The deceased Ramprasad Ahirwar was found hanging in the wee hours on Sunday and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared dead.
Deceased used to work for a private company. The reason behind the incident remains unknown. Police have started further investigation.
