Aishbagh police have registered a case against a woman and her son for abetment to commit suicide of minor girl; woman threatened her of defaming.
The woman's son used to talk with the girl as they were neighbors. The girl was maintaining friendship but youth started to love her and when the girl came to know about this, she stopped talking.
On this, the young man chased her and started forcing her to talk. When the girl's family members complained about this with the youth's mother she started threatening to defame the girl. The student got scared and committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling.
ASI Kashiram told that on February 22 at around 8 pm, Wajid Ali (16), a resident of Bagh Farhat Afza, Aishbagh, committed suicide by hanging. The student was studying in class 12th.
In the investigation of the case, it was revealed that Asfaq (22) and his mother Yasmeen, who live in the neighborhood, tortured the student due to which she committed suicide. Actually there was friendship between Areba and Asfaq because of living in the neighborhood. During this, Asfaq fell in love with the student one-sided. When the student came to know about this, she stopped talking to Asfaq.
After this, when the student would leave the house, the accused would follow her and force her to talk on the phone. The student complained about this to the family members. The family members went to Asfaq's house and asked him to explain.
Angered by this, Asfaq's mother reached the student's house and started accusing her of having trapped her son in a love trap and calling her characterless. Also threatened that if the son is seen with Asfaq or tries to talk, he will defame the entire locality and relatives. Frightened by this, the student committed suicide . Police are looking for the accused by registering the case.
