Four people of a family, including a woman were nabbed for killing a 27-year-old man at Kumar Mohalla under Berasia police station area on Tuesday. The deceased was killed after the accused found him with a girl in compromising position.
On Wednesday three absconding accused who managed to evade arrest on Tuesday after killing Vinod Giri were nabbed.
SDOP Beena Singh said that initially the family members of the deceased told the police that the deceased was killed over money dispute but later in the investigation it was found that the deceased was found in his house with Mansaram’s daughter after which deceased was attacked by the accused.
On Tuesday one of the accused Vinod Prajapati was nabbed and after the search was intensified the three absconding accused Mansaram Prajapati, his wife Kamlesh Bai, her brother Pradeep Prajapati.
All the accused have been nabbed and would be produced in the court on Thursday, she added.
The deceased sustained multiple injuries in his head, chest and hands.
The injury on the left side of the chest proved fatal for the deceased. The incident took place at around 7 pm.
At the time of the incident deceased’s Uncle Murli Giri spotted the accused attacking the deceased and rushed to his rescue and rushed him to a nearby hospital where he died during treatment. He lodged a complaint against the four accused.
After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem.
The police registered a case under section 302 of the IPC and started further investigation. The deceased used to work as auto rickshaw driver.
