Shashi Ranjan Prasad, Executive Director BHEl, Bhopal on Friday honored the winners of the unit level quality circle competition held at BHEl, Bhopal, under the banner of Quality month. On this occasion Kishore Purswani, General Manager (In-Charge), Corporate Quality was also present.
Prasad in his address said that the quality of the product is ensured by the manufacturer of the product. He urged the members of the circle to take up one project each under 5S, thereby laying stress on quality. Speaking on the occasion Purswani said that a number of motivational policies for the quality circles are under consideration at corporate level which will soon be brought into practice.
Dikshit in his address said that quality circle activities help in developing an employee’s personality. It is also an effective medium by which the employees connect themselves closely with the organizational needs and work to achieve the organizational target.Padmashri Bl Chouksey in his address said that the wining circles will be sent for QCFI, CII and other competitions of national level. Anurag Shukla, Sr DGM, BEX declared the result of the competition and proposed the vote of thanks.
The results of the competition are:- QC No 617 HCM won the 1st prize; QC No 125 Press Shop won the 2nd prize; QC No 658 Fabrication won the 3rd prize (Manufacturing Category), QC No 391 ITS won the 1st prize; QC No 673 Finance won the 2nd prize; QC No 198 FDX won the 3rd prize (Support Services category) and QC No 629 Record Section won the 1st prize (Medical Category).
