West Central Railway General Manager Shailendra Kumar Singh today interacted with the journalists during the press conference at Satpura Club WCR, Jabalpur. In this press conference Additional General Manager of Headquarters Shobhan Choudhury and Principal Chief Operating Manager Shri Rajesh Pathak, Head Chief Engineer AK Pandey, Chief Administrative Officer/Construction VK Agarwal, Chief Chief Security Commissioner Shri PK Gupta and Chief Commercial Manager (Passenger Services) Brijendra Kumar were present.
Chief Public Relations Officer Rahul Jaipuriar told of 06 new MEMU trains (Satna-Katni, Katni-Itarsi, Katni-Bina, Bina-Bhopal, Satna-Manikpur and Katni-Bargawan). Establishment of 03 Oxygen Generating Plants (Jabalpur, Bhopal and Kota) in NWR Created the first zone.
Madhya Pradesh's first automatic coach washing plant was set up at Habibganj, WCR. A total of 341 km has been commissioned after completing 132 km of triple work. PMRE this year
Commissioned in 2021-22 after completing 61 km doubling and 33 km doubling. WCR 100 percent electrification work completed 347 km in the year 2019-20 and 486 km in 2020-21. The stations are being redeveloped and Habibganj is being made a world class station.
Electricity savings of Rs 315 crore was made in Wi-Fi at 100% stations (272 stations) by WCR for and Lighting facility (60 stations) has been provided like airport.
