Between the joy of meeting new friends and the sorrow of separation from the seniors, the Welcome and Farewell party of International Institute of Fashion Technology (IIFT) students were held on Wednesday at the Hotel Noor-Us-Sabah.
During this time, when senior students appeared to be welcoming to new students, the students who were leaving the institute were seen promising to meet again with each other. As some eyes were filled happiness, other students had teary eyes and promised to meet each other soon. There was a party theme. For the freshers it was floor length evening gown, and the seniors appeared in the red sari wrapped in different styles. On this occasion, various performances were also held. There were different categories of performances.
The seniors performed dance on different Bollywood numbers and the freshers left everyone astound with the spectacular ramp walk. There group and solo dance performances. From classical to western, all forms of dance performances were seen on the floor. In group performances there were dances on Beti Bachao, bass gloves, sparkling queens, rhythmic eagles, lady rebels, and dancing duties.
During this time, recreational games were also organized and the winners of various competitions during the year were also awarded.
Judges in the programme included Vishal Talreja, Sapna Singh Parmar and Veenaas Rakkaswar. Miss IIFT title was won by Mridbhashini Diwan.
