A webinar was organised on Saturday at Rabindranath Tagore University.
Sanjay Choubey, Senior Storyteller and Assistant General Manager, State Bank of India, Lucknow expressed these thoughts in a special webinar organized by the National Service Planning Unit of Rabindranath Tagore University on the occasion of World Humanity and National Goodwill Day.
He expressed his views on the issue of children in the context of humanity. Choubey said that from childhood, a kind of fear is instilled in the minds of children in the name of rituals and customs. Due to which that child is always afraid and avoids facing the truth in future life also. Apart from this, since childhood, we keep accusing the idea of discrimination between boys and girls in a soft way.
In the beginning of the lecture, Prof. Vice Chancellor of the University, Sangeeta Johri, while giving a welcome address, congratulated the National Service Scheme Unit for organizing the program on this important day.
Most people consider social media as a virtual world, and put all the social evils on it. But there is another virtual world that has been created since the beginning of the development of human civilization. It is a virtual world that takes away not only women but also every common man from real issues and questions in the name of religion and culture.
Various voluntary organizations working on women's issues also participated in the program. Introduction of the programme Deepti Maheshwari, Coordinator Women Development Cell and Rekha Gupta, Dean Education Faculty expressed the vote of thanks.
The programme was coordinated and conducted by Gabbar Singh, Program Officer, National Service Scheme. At the end of the program, questions were asked by the volunteers and participants. Faculty of Humanities and Liberal Arts, Faculty of Education and Women's Development Cell played the supporting role in the programme.
