Home and Jail Minister Babulal Gaur has directed to construct a water body on the premises of Gufa Mandir here. He instructed to start work immediately to construct the ‘Kund’ at naturally beautiful site on the premises. It was informed that the ‘Kund’ has been designed on lines of the one at Ujjain’s Mahakal Mandir. Work will start soon. Gaur was holding discussions on arrangements for devotees coming on festivals and events on the premises of Gufa Mandir here on Monday.
Mahant Chandramadas Tyagi was also present. Gaur said that these arrangements should be made in view of possibility of large turnout of devotees on the premises during ensuing Guru Purnima on July 31, Shrawan Somwar, Nag Panchami and Janmashtami.
He also directed to set up a impromptu police post and temporary dispensary on the premises during the period. Gaur directed to make systematic parking arrangements in view of rains, sanitation and lighting arrangements. He directed PWD to start construction of culvert by July 31. The road connecting the temple premises to main road will be widened at a cost of Rs10 lakh.
