The play portrayed the humane relationship between two people. The atory began with showing the partition period. During the p[partition of India and Pakistan riots happened at a village. There the head of the village Chowdhary saved the life of a small muslim boy. He asked him to stay at his home and earn a living there. As the boy began growing up, he realizes that he does not belong to these people and should go across the border where all his family members and others live.
He then tells Chowdhary that he does not want to stay with them anymore and went across the border. Years later, the boy joins the Pakistani army where he was trained to hit people across the border. He was asked to join a troupe who is planning to attack the villagers of India. Unknowingly, he joins the troupe only to discover that the troupe will attack the same village where he was saved.
Reaching at the village he met Chowdhary and asks him if he recognizes him, but Chowdhary denies. Then the boy makes him remember that he is the same small boy whom he saved during the riots. Seeing the love and affection between the boy and Chowdhary the army men decided to kill Chowdhary but boy saves him and he was killed by his colleagues. At the end of the play he takes his last breath in the lap of Chowdhary saying; it was a ‘Good Return’.The play dealt with the awful situation of the society. With a smart and impactful direction, the play left the audience enthralled.
