leader of Opposition in the State Assembly Satyadev Katare has appealed to the voters of the four municipal corporations going to the polls on Saturday to give a befitting reply to the Ghoshnaveer (heroic announcing) Government of the State.Katare, appealing on Thursday to the electorate of Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur and Chhindwara, said, “Time has come when a appropriate lesson should be taught to the Ghoshnaveer Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Government of the State led by Shivraj Singh Chouhan.”
Katare said the Congress party would continue to fight against the anti-people and misleading polices of the BJP Government. The people of the State were continuously deceived by the BJP Government polices run on papers and announcements made by it. Now, the Government stood exposed before all sections of the society including youth, farmers and others, he added.
He said lakhs of youths in the State were deceived through the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board scam and their crore of rupees were drowned. Electorate of the State was upset due to electricity shortage. Farmers are struggling for seeds and manure and the conditions for them are so worst that they have to lodge protests on roads, he added.
The senior Congress leader alleged that the corruption is at its peak in all the departments of the government and the chief minister of BJP is unable to curb it. The failure of the BJP government of Madhya Pradesh could be gauged from the fact that at the time of budget the financial condition of the state was in profit but at present the condition of over draft is increasing and the Government is not in a position to make payments, he added.
