Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Saturday addressed three election meetings in favour of BJP candidates in the Bihar Assembly elections. Chouhan, addressing the people of Bihar, said that despite all natural resources the state lags behind in many ways. Bihar is still a BIMARU state while Madhya Pradesh has come out of that stigma and has become a developed state, he added. He called on the people of state to vote in favour of the NDA so that all-round development of Bihar could take place.

Addressing a rally at Narayanpur in the Bihpur assembly constituency of Bhagalpur district in favour of BJP candidate Shailendra Kumar Singh, the Madhya Pradesh chief minister said that Bihar has a glorious history but today some people of mean mentality have defamed it. Bihar is backward by all standards of development. Here children don't have any future. Development is miles away. India is changing fast under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. When the country is moving towards a golden tomorrow then why should Bihar remain backwardIJ Here also a strong government of the NDA would be formed and all the public welfare schemes would take shape, he added.

Addressing a second meeting at Bagdobh in Matihani Assembly constituency of Begusarai district in favour of Sarvesh Kumar Singh, Chouhan said for all-round development of the constituency make Singh victorious. Similarly, in Navada districts Navdargunj in Hisua Assembly constirtuency where Anil Singh is party candidate he said that for a change in Bihar people should vote and support the BJP. The people should come forward and support the politics of development at the place of politics of destruction.

The people should change the direction of politics of the state by electing the BJP that is capable of developing the state. If voted to power, the BJP would change the fortune of the people and the picture of Bihar, he added.
