To observe the National Youth Day, Vivekotsav 2021 was held at Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (MANIT) on Tuesday.

Vivakotsav'21 was organized by the Official Language Implementation Committee of Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology. It concluded with a speech competition.

In the first phase, 6 contestants were selected based on the entries sent by the students of many colleges in the country. Participants expressed their views on three topics. The topics were as follows - Swami Vivekananda - A scientific thinker, the path of nation building from the thoughts of Swami Vivekananda, the need for the present young generation to read Swami Vivekananda.

Under the competition, the participants, while giving their views, said that there should be all-round development of the youth and not just the gathering of information.

The youth will have to exercise their discretion as to which information is contemplative and which is not. '

In the end, while encouraging the participants and highlighting the personality of Swami Vivekananda, the founder member of Turyanad,  Ashutosh Singh Thakur Ji said that India has given birth to many great personalities and it is necessary to study them completely.

At the same time, he told that it is necessary for the youth to stop, stay a little and self-think and attach themselves to their larger objectives. Taking inspiration from Vivekananda's life journey, he moved forward with full devotion.

During this, the implementation of a quiz competition based on Swamiji's life also continued in which more than 300 participants of the country participated enthusiastically.

In a letter named Swamiji, the contestants tried to write their thoughts to Swamiji, under which they tried to express the need and prevalent evils of Swamiji's ideas in the present society through letters.
