After giving a hit Tanu Weds Manu, producer Vinod Bacchan is all set to release his new romantic movie Jigariyaa.
Jigariyaa is an upcoming 2014 Bollywood romantic film. The film is directed by Raj Purohit introducing Harshvardhan Deo and Cherry Mardia in lead roles. Notably, Vinod Bacchan along with the star cast of the movie visited the city of lakes for the promostion of the upcoming movie.
Vinod, Cherry and Harshvardhan had a candid interaction with the media persons here on Sunday at Blue Ocean Spa, Kolar Road. While talking about the movie, Vinod said that no doubt it is a romantic drama movie, but picked up from a true incident. He further said that the treatment given to the concept of the movie would definitely enchant the young audience.
As the film is inspired by true events it is slated for release on October 10. The movie will take the audiences back to the year 1988 and experience the budding love of two youngsters, he added. Jigariyaa tells the story of Shyamlal Gupta (Shaamu) and Radhika Sharma (Raadha). Shaamu, the only son of sweet vendor Ramlal Gupta is a happy go lucky boy based in Agra. He spends his days writing urdu poetry admired by his motley group of good-for-nothing friends.
