Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the Vikas Yatra, which started in the state today on Sant Ravidas Jayanti, is a campaign to change the lives of the people. Sant Ravidas was a wonderful saint.
The Centre and our government are working by following his lines - "Aisa Chahun Raj Main, Jahan Mile Saban Ko Ann, Chhote-Badon Sab Sam Base, Ravidas Rahe Prasanna" (I want such a rule, where everyone gets food, small and big people live on equal terms and everyone remains happy.) Our resolution is the welfare of the poor.
For this purpose, such families, which were deprived of taking advantage of the government schemes, were identified by conducting Mukhya Mantri Jan Seva Abhiyan in every village and ward in the state. Under the campaign, work is being done to distribute sanction letters to 83 lakh eligible persons. Today, approval letters of 38 different schemes have been distributed to 3 lakh 77 thousand new beneficiaries of Chambal division. All these beneficiaries will start getting the benefits of the schemes. Important action will be taken to identify the remaining eligible persons and connect them with the schemes even during the Vikas Yatra.
Chouhan participated in the launch of Vikas Yatra in Bhind district, distribution of acceptance letters in Mukhya Mantri Jan Seva Abhiyan and dedication-foundation stone laying programmes of development works. The Chief Minister flagged off the Vikas Yatra chariots. Also unveiled the song of Vikas Yatra. The programme started with Kanya-pujan and the picture of Sant Ravidas ji was garlanded and floral tributes were paid.
Chouhan announced to approve Medical College in Bhind and make Bhind Municipality a Municipal Corporation. He said that the birthplace of Sant Ravidas ji will also be linked with the Mukhya Mantri Teerth-Darshan Yojana. The CM said that in the Teerth Darshan Yojana, from the month of March, the elderly will now be taken for pilgrimage by air.
Chief Minister said that from today we are starting Vikas Yatras. These yatras will go to all the villages and urban wards. Yatras will not be a ritual, it is a campaign to change the lives of the people. Chouhan said that the aim of Vikas Yatras is to benefit 100 percent eligible beneficiaries. He said that dedication, laying of foundation stone and disbursal of benefits will also be undertaken in Vikas Yatras. Along with this, by adding the names of the people left out of the schemes of the government, they will be given the benefits of the schemes of the government.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that he wants to make life easier for his sisters. Along with the previously implemented schemes, now the "Ladli Bahna" scheme will make the lives of my sisters better. Arrangements are being made to give one thousand rupees every month and 12 thousand rupees in a year and 60 thousand rupees in 5 years to the sisters in the scheme. The Chief Minister said that what has not happened anywhere has happened in Madhya Pradesh. Your brother Shivraj will do what no one has done. Chouhan said that I am happy that 83 lakh such people have been identified in the state through the Mukhya Mantri Jan Seva Abhiyan who are eligible to take advantage of government schemes.
Approval letter distribution work is going on in the state to benefit all these citizens in 38 different schemes.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the government is running several schemes for the welfare of the poor. Continuous efforts are being made to arrange ration, education, medicine and housing for the poor. Houses are being built for the poor by freeing government land from land mafia. Under the Ayushman Yojana, card holder families are also being given treatment facility of up to Rs 5 lakh in a year.
