The Vihan Drama Workers, Bhopal will be observing its foundation day on Tuesday in Bhopal and Delhi.
Known for its wondrous performances across the country, Vihan Drama Workers has made a mark for itself in the theatre industry. To observe the successful four years the group will celebrated its foundation day in Bhopal and in Delhi in a unique style.
To observe this occasion, Vihan Drama Workers has organized theatrical music (Rang Sangeet) performance and poetry recital.
The performance will be done by the artists of the theatre group. The artists will simultaneously perform in Bhopal and in Delhi.
It is noteworthy that Vihaan Drama Workers started its journey four years back. The first show ‘Kanupriya’ by a noted poet Dharamvir Bharati was produced under the banner by the group which was well received by the theater buffs. Since then, there was turning back for the theatre group.
As the group began its journey with the wonderful blend of poetry and drama on stage, the group will be observing its foundation day in the similar unique style.
On Tuesday, the artists will be presenting a theatrical performance with the wondrous blend of poetry recital at Aurobindo School Auditorium. Here in Bhopal the group will perform a drama which is a collage of various poetries. The play is directed by Nitesh Mangrole.
Before the play, artists Shweta Ketkar and Ekta Sohini will recite the poetries by Dharamvir Bharati ‘Kanupriya’. On the occasion veteran theatre artists will be present along with director of Vihan Vinay Upadhyay and poet Vasant Sakarghaye.
Also in Delhi, the director of vihan Saurabh Anant and members of the group Sudeep Sohini and Hemat Deolekar will organize ‘Poetics 2’.
The Poetics will be held at Kunzum Café, Delhi. On the occasion renowned artists like leeladhar Mandloi, Kumar Anupam and others will be present.
