Videocon Telecom launched its exclusive 100th Videocon Connect Store in Bhopal here on Wednesday.
Notably, with the launch of this store the telecom brand Videocon Group takes up the total branded store count to 500 plus across its operational circles. Director and CEO of Videocon Telecom Arvind Bali while talking to the media persons here on Wednesday said, “This is a very eventful day for us, I am delighted to inaugurate our 100th Videocon Connect store in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh telecom circle in Bhopal.The response from the subscribers has been overwhelming and we are growing at a very fast pace and the testimony to the same is the fact that in our first year of comeback, we have grown our subscriber base at CAGR of 180% and Revenue at a CAGR of 170% in the current financial year.” Bali further said,
“MPCG Telecom circle is of an utmost importance to us and we are creating infrastructure on all fronts be it Network or Retail. We have finalised our annual business plan for financial year 2014-15 and we will be investing approx Rs380 crores in MPCG Telecom circles on Network, IT and 4G lTE FDD roll out.”“As a part of its aggressive expansion strategy in the Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh telecom circle, Videocon Telecom plans to engage with a larger consumer base and expand its retail footprint through this launch,” Bali added.
Notably, Videocon Telecom will be the first Telecom service provider to rollout 4G lTE FDD services in MPCG.
