VHP: Security agencies targeting Hindu society

Published on:

Expressing anger for Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) president Arvind Kejriwal, Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) convener Ashok Singhal on Saturday alleged that security agencies are targeting Hindu society and saints are being entrapped in bomb blast cases at Gandhi’s orchestration.

While talking to mediapersons here, Singhal told, “The leader of a party that recently came to the fore accuses everyone else of being corrupt and considers himself perfect. That person does not possess information regarding the nation. Anti-social elements are linked with that leader who is associated with a non-Government organisation (NGO).” The VHP convener had last night met RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat for over an hour here. Bhagwat is in a four-day visit to the city.

The foundation that manages the NGO runs 500 NGOs in the country, Singhal said, adding that the Ramon Magsaysay Award is conferred on those who work in the United States’ interests

To a query regarding Narendra Modi, Singhal said the VHP has nothing to do with the BJP but maintained that it would certainly support Modi in the next lok Sabha elections. He said the Government, which would be formed under the prime ministership of Modi, would not come under pressure from any quarter including the US. Singhal also raised the bogey of Hindus becoming minority in India and said it has become imperative for each Hindu couple to have five children. He said unless conversions were stopped immediately, the day would not be far off when Hindus would be reduced to a minority in this country.

Jihadis are continuously pounding Hindus, Singhal alleged, adding that a certain religion has constituted liberation armies. “What work do these armies have in places of worshipIJ Who are they seeking liberation fromIJ Cow slaughter and sale of cow flesh must be banned in the country. Today, Indians desire a security guarantee,” he said.
