A five-month pregnant woman lost her foetus after she was attacked by her three neighbours over a petty issue at Afkar Colony under Aishbagh police station area on Thursday.
According to the police, the victims Rajendra Chouhan and his wife Geeta Chouhan had a verbal spat after Rajendra was teased by his three neighbours and later, the victims were beaten brutally.
The victims were rushed to a nearby hospital where due to profuse bleeding Geeta’s condition started deteriorating and she lost her foetus, which forced for abortion. The police have denied any information of abortion of the victim.
Geeta was kicked in her stomach due to which her condition worsened later.
The three miscreants were identified as Ramashankar Chourasia, Sukhram and Bansilal,who went missing after the incident and are still absconding.
The miscreants and victim are resident of the same area of Afkaar Colony. They hail from UP and are involved in labour work.
The police have registered a case under section 308, 452, 506 and 34 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
Police have made no arrest so far and have started search for the miscreants. Police claimed the miscreants would be nabbed soon.
During the investigation, police found that the fight broke out between the two groups after Shehzaad Khan, who is a producer of brooms, visited Rajendra and demanded payment, but was told to pay later to which he agreed and left.
