Unidentified miscreants vandalized vehicles parked outside MP Nagar Zone-1 Latitude Lounge, creating panic and stamped like situation late night on Saturday.
The accused have swords in their hands. After this incident, panic spread in the area. People saved their lives by entering the lounge and nearby buildings. Police have registered an FIR against unknown miscreants. CCTV footage of the entire incident has also surfaced.
TI Jitendra Singh Gurjar said that Mohan Singh (50) resident of Indore, is the driver of the car. He had come to Bhopal with the owner. He told that at 12:45 in the night on Saturday, he was sitting in the car outside Latitude Lounge located in MP Nagar Zone-1.
Then unknown youths came, carrying swords. The accused started vandalizing his vehicle and other vehicles. After the incident the accused fled from the spot.
After seeing the armed miscreants, a stampede broke out on the spot. People in cars saved their lives by hiding in nearby buildings. Who the accused were and why they carried out the vandalism has not been revealed.
TI said that efforts are being made to identify the accused. A case has been registered against unknown accused and investigation has been started.
