Varun says youth are most affected from corruption in country

Corruption is on the rise in the country and it is the youth that are affected most with it. A weapon to fight the corruption has been provided in the form of Right To Information (RTI) but Rights activists are murdered, Satyendra Dube, Manjunath and lalit Mehta are leading examples of this. Now the youth would have to come forward to take on corruption and the social media could play an important role in this, said BJP parliamentarian Varun Gandhi here on Tuesday while addressing youths at People University.

The university had organized ‘Yuva Vimarsh 2016’ (Youth Deliberation) in its auditorium over the subject thought for new India. Gandhi further said, “The youths should come forward to fight corruption. The country is passing through difficult times and it needs every youth and every hand. The country would be saved only if the youth would come forward.”

The young parliamentarian frankly put for the his views over education, employment, unemployment, brain drain and other burning issues during the Youth Deliberation. “There are many disparities in the education system of the country that need to be corrected the most,” he added.

He said that at present there are 33 boards to control the education system in the country. Career of youth is adversely affected due to different boards as a topper of the board could not get admission in any college of Delhi despite securing 92 per cent marks while in some other place of the country students securing less than 60 per cent gets admission. To get rid of this disparity there is need of single board in the country so that everyone could get equal opportunities, he added.

On the issue of brain drain Gandhi said that there is nothing wrong if the youths feel that the country lacks opportunities for them and they moves out of country.
