Jagran lakecity University organised a freshers’ party on Sunday at the university's student enrichment hub. The party theme was 'Bollywood' where all the new faces of the university came together dressed in startling costumes.
The gathering was aimed at bringing together all the students from various departments for getting acquainted with their batch mates, seniors and faculty members. It was a social initiative to spark the interaction of new-comers.
Events included a Duet Dancing Competition which was followed by a Filmy-Gyan Quiz to test the knowledge on Bollywood of the participants where the answers were amusing.
The most exciting affair was the Fashion Parade where many students treaded confidently over the ramp in their Bollywood attires. Sehba Hussain and Rolii Agarwal were the judges at the events. On the occasion, Mr Fresher 2014, Miss Fresher 2014, Best Dressed Male 2014, Best Dressed Female 2014 were adjudged.
On this occasion the senior students of JlU Bhopal welcomed the freshers “Years go by but there is always a fresh start to the new session. I welcome you all to the university of creativity and fresh thinking and wish you all the best for your tenure in JlU Bhopal.” The party was completed by serving mouth watering food.
