Valuables worth Rs 90,000 were burgled from Amraio Parisar under Baghsewania police station area on Monday.
Police said that the victim Surendra Kushwaha had gone for work on Sunday and when he returned in the morning on Monday the valuables were found burgled.
A complaint was lodged with the police by the victim stating that he left the house for work in the evening on Sunday and as after the completion of the shift scheduled employee failed to turn up he continued till the morning and when he returned, the door of the house was open and on entering, the valuables were found burgled.
The victim found that gold and silver jewelry were found burgled and the total loss in the burglary was found to be Rs 90000. The victim told the police regarding the cash which was kept in the house as it was provided by his brother-in-law and he was not aware of the amount and would provide the amount of cash after his confirmation.The neighbours have expressed ignorance over the burglary. The almirah having the jewelry and cash were burgled while other valuables remained undisturbed by the miscreants.
The wife of victim had gone to her parents’ house while the victim who was scheduled to complete his working hours at around 12 in the night had to continue his work till 8 in the morning. The victim works with Sanchi Dairy Federation at Habibganj.
