The school students of the city would be mesmerized by the magic of science in a summer vacation workshop. Being organised by the Regional Science Centre, Bhopal, the summer vacation workshop would be conducted in different sessions at the science centre's premises.
Registrations for the workshop would begin here from Tuesday at Regional Science Centre's office.The workshop is being organized with a view to motivating children to learn about the various facts and also to make them aware of the new innovations in different streams of science.
As the science workshop would be held in four different sessions there would be different batches for the middle school and high school students. The first batch of the summer vacation workshop 'Creative Science' would begin here from May 5 that would continue till May 9. Under this batch students of classes seventh to ninth may participate.
The second session 'Model Rocketry' would be held from May 19 to 23 and the students of classes sixth to eighth can register their names for the session. The third session, 'Aeromodelling,' would be held from May 27 to 31 in which students of classes eighth to 10th can participate. The fourth and the last session of the workshop 'Electronic' is from June 3 to 7 for the students of classes eighth to 10th.
Notably, for all the batches the timing will be from 11.30 am to 4.30 pm. The registration for these workshops starts on April 1 at RSCB, from 11.00 am to 5.00 pm, and will be done on first-come first- served basis.
While talking to The Pioneer, education Officer of the Regional Science Centre, Bhopal, said, "During this summer vacation, Regional Science Centre, Bhopal, has organised four batches of different workshops for the students so that they can spend their vacation creatively and explore their hidden talent. It is fun filled and also the students would experience how to conduct the practicals as well."
