The richness and beauty of the classical music and dance was witnessed by the Bhopalites on Sunday. The classical programme under the series Uttaradhikar was organised on Sunday at Madhya Pradesh State Tribal Museum.
The Bhopalites were enthralled to watch such beautiful performances on stage. The renowned city based Ghazal singer Zulfiqar Ali and renowned Kathak dancer Nupur Dubey from Indore gave scintillating performances at the show.
As the evening grew romantic Zulfiqar Ali began his delightful performances. Zulfiqar along with troupe presented the romantic ghazals before the ghazal lovers of the city as they enjoyed every bit of it. His melodious voice and the presentation with the rhythms added more zest in the evening as well as in the programme.
His performance was undoubtedly the most enchanting in every manner. As he began his performance the classical music lovers could not stop appreciating his melodious voice. Every raga he performed was filled with purity and innocence of its own.
later, the Bhopalites were taken aback with the startling Kathak performance Nupur Dubey from Indore. She performed along with her troupe. The expressions on their faces and the movement of their eyes were charisma of the performance.
They performed the pure kathak maintaining its elegance on stage. Their graceful gestures and mudras, besides the expressions simply usher the viewers into a world of beauty and devotion.
The audience were enrapture with their performance. The richness and beauty of both the dance forms mesmerised the spectators at Bharat Bhavan.
