Accusing the political parties of dividing the society on the lines of caste and religion in all these years, upper castes led by Samanya Pichhra Alpsankhyak Kalyan Samaj (SAPAKS) here on Sunday at a huge gathering decided to contest the State Assembly polls.

It demanded treatment of the poor on the basis of economic status and caste and creed. While addressing the gathering, SAPAKS patron Hiralal Trivedi said, “We are constantly dubbed as the organization representing upper caste but today’s gathering has members from different communities including SCs and STs.” Ex-MLA from Satna Dhirendra Singh ‘Dheeru’, who represents SC community also remained in attendance and extended support to SAPAKS movement.

Trivedi lashed at the political class saying all the provisions were made on caste lines instead of economic status. Alleging that caste reservation also differentiates on beneficiaries, Trivedi said if a poor reserved man has woman in house delivering baby, he would be given Rs 16,00 while an IAS officer in the same situation would receive Rs 14,000 as financial assistance.

Administering oath on the occasion, Trivedi asked the gathering to shun fear, work for ensuring justice to every section and be prepared for allegations like them being ISI agents or being funded by overseas sources.   Announcing the SAPAKS would declare its political outfit on Monday, the SAPAKS patron affirmed such candidates would be sent to assembly and parliament who work to end differences of caste and religion. “For the last 68 years, we have been sacrificing and we would not urge our brothers and sisters from SC and ST communities to do the same for us,” he said alleging that for hammering their gathering 18 trains were suspended and buses were stopped on Sunday.

SAPAKS regional coordinator PS Parihar in his address called CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan as Mama claiming that uncles like Kansh and Hiranyakashyap were decimated by their nephews. Amid loud cheers from the crowd, Parihar announced that the end of CM Shivraj is certain.
