Upgraded and renovated Combat Army Pre Primary School (CAPPS), Mhow, was jointly inaugurated by lt General Sandeep Singh, AVSM and Bar, SM, VSM, Commandant, Army War College and his wife Yashmi Singh on Monday after a brief religious ceremony followed by a cultural programme, presented by the tiny tots of the school.
CAPPS was established under the aegis of Army War College in 1989 with three pre- primary classes (Play way, lower KG and Upper KG) for providing pre-primary education to wards/children of service personnel and civilians of Mhow.
The school has qualified and experienced teaching staff that have added value to the school while improving the teaching techniques relevant to the present day environment. Yashmi Singh, wife of lt General Sandeep Singh is the President of the school management, and is actively involved in conceptualizing and designing the curriculum for educating the tiny tots through modern pedagogic techniques.
The Commandant while interacting with the media remarked that in due course of time actions will be taken to enhance the capacity of the school so that maximum children, especially from local families can also be benefited from enhanced facilities available in the school.
