Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has alleged that the Congress led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government of the Centre has failed on all fronts.BJP State president Usha Thakur in a statement here on Sunday alleged that the biggest failure of the UPA Government is that its economist Prime Minister who failed to contain inflation.

Thakur further said that the country is passing through a dark phase under the UPA Government, youth are depressed due to unemployment and corruption, interest rates, and exchequer loss apart from cost of agriculture has increased manifolds.

She said that the growth rate has tumbled due to the inefficient policies of Central Government and price rise has reached its peak. She also claimed that in the history of Independent India UPA 1 and UPA 2 have been proved to be the most corrupt Governments.

Thakur also a member of the legislative Assembly said that vision is a necessity for development in a democracy, but Congress lacks it. There is a scarcity of thought process in the Congress and that is why the nation is suffering, she however claimed that country will soon get rid of this as in the next elections BJP would mark a historic victory under the leadership of party’s prime ministerial candidate and Gujarat Chief minister Narendra Modi.

Meanwhile, in a separate statement  Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) State President Amardeep Maurya said that Rahul Gandhi’s statement that “We put the  horse of marriage in race” shows the feudalism of Congress which never considers its workers as workers which led to the defeat it suffered in the recently held Assembly elections.

Maurya further said that workers play a vital role in any political party and success of the party depends on the toil of its volunteers as they are backbone of party and credited the third time victory of BJP to its workers. Congress has been a feudalistic party from very beginning and occasionally their view comes to front, he added.

Maurya said that Rahul Gandhi may be aided by foreign companies for his branding but still his maligned reputation of an unsuccessful leader and reputation of Congress as a corrupt party is not going to change. He appealed Gandhi to use the sum of his branding in checking the corruption of Central government and controlling inflation as then he may earn respect.
