UP fest to be held from July 10

The colours of Uttar Pradesh will be spread in the city of lakes and the Bhopalites will have a closer look at the sparkling and fizzy shades of its art and culture.Uttar Pradesh Mahotsav will be hosted by the multi-art centre of the city, Bharat Bhavan. Organised by Bharat Bhavan the Uttar Pradesh Mahotsav is all about folk music, dance, art, exhibitions and workshops. Also the poets meet, the film screening of Uttar Pradesh will also be held.

The UP Mahotsav will begin here from July 10. The 10-day fest will focus on the art and culture of the State. Interestingly, the fest will feature the renowned names of Uttar Pradesh playing and singing before the Bhopalites.The fest will feature the eminent and renowned names of classical music and dance. Ali Abbas and Troupe will play shehnai, Naseer Khan will play Sarangi, and even one of the classical musical exponents of the country Hari Prasad Chourasia will play flute during the UP Mahotsav.

Not only this, but, the classical singers like Girija Devi, Rajan Sajan Mishra, Pandit Chhatrulal, Pandit Dharam Nath Mishra, Shubha Mudgal, Savita Devi and also the classical dancers including Vishal Krishna, and also Surbhi Joshi will present Kathak dance before the audience.Moreover, epic movies like Paakizah, Umrao Jaan, Nadiya Ke Paar and even a documentary on Uttar Pradesh will also be the part of the fest. Not only this various theatrical dramas like Ram Ki Shakti Puja, and Sadgati will also be presented on the fest. The UP fest will be like the extravaganza of art for the art lovers of the city. The fest will continue till July 19.
