Union Bank Dudhichua branch handed over a cheque Rs 10 lakh to nominee Harsh Sharma of customer Late Ajay Kumar Sharma resident NCL Colony Singrauli.
Ajay Kumar Sharma availed a personal loan on October 31, 2021 of Rs 5.50 lakhs from Union Bank branch Dudhichua and at the same time Rs 10 lakh was insured by the bank's tie-up company "Care Health Insurance" for 5 years only for Rs 9999 which would be provided to nominee in case of accidental death of the customer. Due to this, a check of Rs 10 lakh was given to his nominee who was his son, in which Rs 5.28 lakh including personal loan interest was deposited and 4.72 lakh has been received to help the family.
While taking the cheque, son Harsh Sharma said this insurance amount cannot compensate any member of the family, but in that difficult situation, it can definitely help the family by making them debt free.
Union Bank's Area Head Markandey Yadav, Lead District Manager Amar Singh, Branch Head Dudhichua Deepak Kumar Singh and Kailash Mallah of Company Care Health Insurance and other dignitaries of the area were present in the program.
