UNICEF Madhya Pradesh head Trevor Daniel Clark paid a courtesy visit to Panchayats, Rural Development, Social Justice and Cooperatives Minister Gopal Bhargava at his Vidhan Sabha chamber on Monday. Clark said that UNICEF will cooperate in health, sanitation and eradication of malnutrition in the rural areas of Madhya Pradesh.
Gopal Bhargava stressed on the need for bringing down maternal and infant mortality rate through health education and public awareness in the State, especially in Bundelkhand region. Clark informed that UNICEF may provide expert services and organise special training programmes for eradication of malnutrition in the State.
