Globally UNICEF is marking its 70th year of its founding and as part of the celebrations in Bhopal UNICEF Madhya Pradesh office will be having two events on Wednesday, December 14, in that celebrity advocate Bollywood actress Dia Mirza would specially participate.
The programmes to be held in the city are Adolescent and Young people meet and Exhibition of Pictures of Sports for Development.
Adolescent and Young people meet would be held at Samanvay Bhawan in Apex bank premises, New Market on December 14 from 11 am to 1 pm, wherein adolescent and young people will share their perspectives and work being done by them for benefit of children. Groups of children and young people will share their perspectives, view point on child rights with the participants present.
While, Exhibition of Pictures of Sports for Development would be held at Swaraj Bhawan on December 14, from 5.00 pm onwards, Sports for Development (S4D) is an effort by the State of Department of School Education, UNICEF supports the same.
These pictures have been taken by young photographers to showcase positive spirit of the programme. The exhibition will be inaugurated on December 14 at 5.00 pm and runs through to December 18, 2016. Celebrity Advocate Bollywood actress Dia Mirza would specially be participating in both these events.
