Depression over unemployment and engagement breaking with fiancée forced Anil to take extreme step and he was spotted buying petrol from petrol pump in a CCTV grab, said police in the case of charred body found in the morning on December 10 at Sardar Vallabh Bhai Government School in Panchsheel Nagar under TT Nagar police station area.
During the investigation several factors emerged and police have found that the charred body is of Anil Thakkare who committed suicide by setting himself ablaze.
It was found that the deceased was unemployed and used to remain under depression and he got engaged to a girl but later the engagement got broke.
The suicide was revealed by police after deceased was spotted buying petrol from petrol pump in a CCTV grab. He has also tried to committing suicide earlier but failed.
Notably a body was found at Sardar Vallabh Bhai Government School in Panchsheel Nagar and police were informed. On the receipt police reached and started further investigation. The identity of the deceased remained unknown as the body was burnt beyond recognition.
In the initial investigation police found a chain around the neck of the deceased which suggest that victim was chained and burnt. Burnt wooden log was also found which was burnt but not completely. A woman appeared and claimed that the deceased is her missing Anik Thakare (25) which was investigated.
The building of the school in which the body was found is not used for conducting classes and when smell started to emanate from the building and students reported the body was recovered.
