Massive accident was averted after an under construction building of Agrawal construction of SAGE group collapsed at Children Park of Paras Urbane Park society at Gulmohar.
Former secretary and member of society Rajendra Malpani Maheshwari said that Agrawal construction of SAGE group is constructing on the front side of the society. The structure which was under construction was built adjacent to the boundary wall of the children park and which collapsed on Wednesday.
He said that fortunately no children or any other member was at the children park otherwise accident could have occurred and might resulted in casualties and injuries to the residents of the society.
Soon after the under construction building collapsed locals informed police and media persons also reached the spot.
Maheswari alleged that metal roofs were erected in front of the society blocking fresh air and stones excavated are dumped in the society which is harmful and the incident of collapse of under construction building is serious and could have harmed several children and people.
Earlier, they planned a market to be developed and later it was changed to built hospital, the permissions have been obtained or not, is not clear still the construction was continued.
The road has also been encroached as construction material is lying over the road and half of the road is encroached which would lead to accidents. Urbane Park Resident Maintenance Cooperative Society would complaint to the higher authorities.
